Blessed Karl of Austria (August 17, 1887 – April 1, 1922) was the last ruler of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. He was a devout Catholic and loved the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Rosary. He is becoming increasingly “popular” in the Church as his heroic sanctity, long hidden from the world, is being revealed in our days.
